Plantain to the Rescue healing and drawing salve
The humble yet hardy plantain (Plantago major and Plantago lanceolata) has been used for hundreds of years by lay people and medical herbalists alike as a versatile healing plant. In my own family it's used to help draw out splinters and stingers, heat from minor burns and to calm inflammation related to rashes or minor injury, thanks to its antihistamine properties. If you have fresh plantain handy when it's needed, all the better, but this tin of balm is exceptionally useful for those moments when you don't. Unscented, so suitable for use on even sensitive skin and freshly cleaned, minor wounds.
A generous 50g portion in a reusable/recyclable screw top tin.
