2027 Cotswold foraging walks at Bruern Farms, Chipping Norton

Join me for a relaxing and informative two (and a bit) hour walk as we explore the local hedgerows, footpaths and/or woodland to identify and discuss the many seasonal edible and medicinal plants growing all around us. Topics will include plant names (common and botanical), plant folklore and history, wildcrafting and cooking ideas, plants we can work with at home for first aid and family health, and more. You'll learn why each season's plants are uniquely suited to provide us with what we need, just when we need it. Afterwards we'll sample a few wildcrafted foods and medicines, and I'll email a list of what we've seen and talked about for your reference.

Price is £30 per person; £15 for children 12 and under. All are warmly welcome.

Bookings are non-refundable, but you may transfer an existing booking to a different date pending availability.

All walks meet at the Fifield Road Apothecary studio on Bruern Farms near Milton under Wychwood, OX7 6QF, unless otherwise specified. Please BE SURE to include your email or a phone number with your booking in the event of a last minute change of venue. Walks take place in most weather conditions, please dress suitably for the weather on the day, and wear wellies or walking shoes that don’t mind mud if conditions are wet.

Dogs on leads welcome, as are children with an adult.

To book click the link below, which will bring you to an external booking page. Please note that I am happy to discuss scheduling a private foraging walk for groups of four or more people. Get in touch to enquire.
